Los Angeles, CA- Reiyukai America was happy to participate in Echo Park’s Annual Holiday Parade, where they invited locals to join them for the upcoming 2017 Reiyukai events! Members who participated in the parade wore silly handmade costumes made out of recycled cardboard boxes. Needless to say, when it came to their costumes, parade spectators had good laughs all in the name of fun!

The activities of Reiyukai America in Chicago began in 2005. Through a variety of activities and projects, Reiyukai America has gradually and steadily shown its presence within Chicago. After ten years, Reiyukai America was very pleased to organize the very first retreat! The activities organized by Reiyukai America have always had something unique and different. Thus, this retreat, certainly was exceptional from any other retreat that anyone ever attended.Why? Because Reiyukai is all about ‘CARE’!

It’s An ‘Ohana Day Celebration: Award recipients for the 2016 Letter To MY Parents Contest in Hawai’i were announced during the ‘Ohana Day Celebration presented by Reiyukai America.
Waipahu, HI — It has been a tradition for the local Reiyukai members in Hawai‘i to organize “Family Day Festival”, raising awareness about Family Bonding while introducing the ideas advocated by Reiyukai. This year, due to a large community involvement, this year’s Family Day Festival got an upgrade. Along with community partners—Kalamansi Books and Things, Sariling Gawa Youth Council, Inc., and Filipino Association of University Women (FAUW)— Reiyukai America presented the ‘Ohana Day Celebration at Hawaii’s Plantation Village on November 19.

San Diego, CA — Reiyukai America’s 8th Branch Tokura Branch had a blast during the visit of their branch leader Mrs. Toshiko Takechi from Japan! During her stay, members enjoyed having inspirational and motivational talks in regards to applying the teaching into daily lives through spreading the word and interacting with others.

Bringing Different People Together for One Goal
Los Angeles, CA- Reiyukai America was very proud to assist URU, Ultimate Restoration Unlimited, in their 4 weekend Community Clean Up project. Reiyukai played a significant role in bringing a total of 70 people from various ethnic groups, of all ages, children to seniors, in order to beautify the streets of Los Angeles. We would like to congratulate Teresa McDonald, president of URU, (and also a Reiyukai America member) for a successful month of community beautification!
